FOB Tank-to-Tank is a bulk fuel transaction where product is transferred from the seller’s storage tank to the buyer’s designated storage tank at an agreed terminal or tank farm.

The process typically begins with the buyer submitting their purchase requirements and completing the required corporate and transaction documentation. The seller then provides the applicable commercial documents and product information for review.

Once the transaction is approved, the parties coordinate tank verification, product inspection, and transfer procedures. An independent inspection company may verify the product quantity and quality according to the agreed contract.

After successful verification and completion of the contractual conditions, payment is made according to the agreed terms. The seller then completes the transfer of title and the product is transferred into the buyer’s designated tank.
